The hairdresser is called into her daughter Lexi’s school next week on BBC One, following reports that an unknown adult has attacked the child’s schoolmate Maisie.
In prior scenes, Maisie had been picking on Lexi about Lola’s ailing health.
The young mother tries to put two and two together and believes she may be to blame after documenting her health journey online.
Lola begins to fear her newfound online fame could be to blame and grows concerned for her family and her own safety.
But does she really need to worry so much?
The truth begins to unravel and secrets finally come to light later on at the salon when she finds out one of her clients isn’t who she says she is…
Overcome with emotion and weak from her gruelling treatment, Lola later gets checked over by a doctor at home after Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and her husband Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) became concerned.
Lola’s world is turned completely upside down that same day when an unwelcome guest shows up on their doorstep – her long-lost mother Emma Harding.
She makes a shock discovery about Emma, but can she accept the truth?
Will the two women be able to form a bond before it’s too late?
Former Holby City actress Patsy Kensit made her EastEnders debut in recent scenes when Billy Mitchell tried to convince her on-screen alter ego to attend Lola’s wedding.
Emma Harding refused, believing her daughter to be better off without her… but she soon rocked up Walford in secret.
The mysterious character kept a close watch on Lola, heading to the salon she works at to get to know her more.
She eventually found out by herself that Lola was terminally ill and scolded Maisie to secretly protect her granddaughter Lexi.
But is all really as it seems with Emma?
