Eamonn Holmes transitions to new living arrangement
Eamonn Holmes is now reportedly residing in a "small flat" after moving out of the £3 million Surrey mansion he previously shared with his wife Ruth Langsford. The couple, both 64 years old, faced rumors of divorce back in May after 14 years of marriage.
Struggles behind the scenes
According to sources close to Eamonn, the transition has not been easy for the TV presenter. A friend revealed to MailOnline, "It's all a rather sorry affair. It was only a few months ago he was living in his lovely family home with Ruth. Yes, they were troubled, but she was caring for him and he had some kind of normality. Now, he is alone in a flat living a pretty solitary existence."
Health concerns and emotional impact
Reports suggest that Eamonn has been struggling with his health for years, and his recent living situation may be exacerbating his discomfort. The TV star, who has faced multiple health issues including a double hip replacement, attended the TRIC awards in a wheelchair and admitted to not being okay.
Looking towards the future
Despite the challenges, Eamonn is said to be starting a new chapter in his life in a more compact living space. The transition comes after the couple's split was confirmed by their spokesperson earlier this year. Eamonn and Ruth share a son, Jack, and Eamonn has three children from a previous marriage.
