Both he and Isabel Webster were unaware they were live on air
However, the pair were caught off guard after the programme returned from a commercial break.
Unaware they were live on television, the presenters were chatting – and swearing.
Former Sky News presenter Isabel, 40, could be heard saying: “I’m a b***h, if only they knew.”
She added: “Pussycat me.”
Eamonn responded by joking: “If only they knew!”
But the ex-This Morning anchor then turned to Isabel and asked: “Now, how the f*** do I get home today?”
At that point producers muted the pair’s microphones and they continued speaking.
After being alerted that she was live on air, Isabel sprung up and started with the next segment.
Eamonn looked visibly mortified and turned to put his earpiece back in.
The blunder didn’t go unnoticed as fans took to social media to comment on the hilarious scenes.
One said: “This is why I love watching this channel and love @EamonnHolmes hope he gets home.”
A second said: “This morning.. I don’t think Eamonn Holmes realised they were live.”
“Just watching that lovely Eamonn & Isabel on GB News, now choking on my cornflakes and clutching my pearls,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Oh dear Eamonn has dropped the F bomb live on air.”
