TELLY legend Eamonn Holmes has said he fears wife Ruth Langsford will end up as his carer.
The former This Morning host, 62, suffered three slipped discs, leaving him with chronic pain for which he has treatment every day.

He told The Times he has had what he called a “hellish ten months” battling the agony.
Asked if he worries about Ruth – his wife of 11 years and This Morning co-star even longer – being his carer he said: “Yes, I do fear it.
“She hasn’t got the most caring nature, I have to say. So I’d better have enough money in the bank for a care nurse as I get older.”
He said: “What’s that nurse called in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest?” Nurse Ratched? “That’s her.
“The odd time during this illness I would say to her, ‘Could you put on my sock?’ or ‘Could you help me do this?’ and she’d say, ‘I’ll do it this once but don’t rely on this.
“I’m not going to be doing this again. I’m not your carer.’”
Eamonn recently quit This Morning after 15 years to host the breakfast show at GB News with Isabel Webster.
He said that Ruth, 61, who lost her shifts when he left but has her own QVC fashion line to concentrate on, was supportive of his decision to leave.
Eamonn told The Celeb Report earlier this month how his health problems had begun to affect his life.
He said: “I can’t bend down to pick things up so Ruth ends up having to wait on me, and I know my sons particularly are a bit embarrassed by the way I move around.
“I had to stop driving and sold my car back to the dealer too, which felt quite emasculating, and I have to use a hook to pull my trousers up when I’m getting dressed in the morning and something else to get my shoes and socks on.
“It just makes everything so much harder. I’ve just finished filming a food programme for the BBC called Farm To Feast, and the director had to do all sorts of clever tricks just to hide how much I’m struggling.”
