EAMONN Holmes will return to This Morning next week after being rushed to hospital with chronic pain, Alison Hammond has confirmed as she “sends love”.
Fans feared for the 61-year-old TV legend worried fans after revealing he was suffering “pain he’s never felt in his life”.
He has since returned home from hospital – and his ITV co-stars have been updating viewers on his recovery.
But fellow This Morning presenter Alison Hammond has confirmed he will be back to cover the show during Easter half term.
Alison said on Friday: “Eamonn and Ruth will be back next week.
“I wanted to wish Eamonn all the best because he had to seek some treatment in hospital for chronic pain. Eamonn, we are sending all our love to you from all the team.”
Lorraine also said on her show this morning: “I know everybody would want to wish our Eamonn a speedy recovery.
“He’s not been very well. He’s a total trooper, he, in chronic pain and had to go to the hopsital yesterday.
“He will definitely be on This Morning next week, you know what he’s like, nothing’s going to stop him.
“He’s also going to be talking about chronic pain and what causes it because a lot of people suffer from that and it’s really hard to get to the bottom of.
“We will be watching that, of him and Ruth on This Morning next week.”
Earlier today, Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins said she has been messaging Eamonn following his hospital dash and confirmed he had returned home.
Yesterday, the presenter shared a photo of himself sitting in a hospital waiting room, wearing a protective face mask.
He explained in the post’s caption: “At Hospital. Pain like I’ve never felt in my life.
“Hope they discover the cause. Wish me well folks 
”
