Viewers know that Libby was accepted to go to Oxford university to study English in 2010.

Since then she has returned to Walford a number of times.

Libby returned to the square to celebrate her 24th birthday and to attend Lucy’s funeral in 2014.

In April 2016, Libby returned again but upset as she tells Denise she is pregnant.

Denise was overjoyed but Libby says she is having an abortion and has already taken the first of two abortion pills.

In September 2018, it is mentioned that Libby is the only student from Walford High to ever attend Oxford.

More recently this year, Denise used her daughter Libby as an excuse to have a one-night stand.

She told her husband Jack she was getting the train to Oxford to catch up with her daughter, but instead she was going to a nearby hotel to meet Ravi.

Even though Denise didn’t go through with it and regrets her actions, Ravi blackmailed Denise to tell Jack about their “affair” in order to get inside information about his investigation.

But viewers are wondering why Libby as been a university for so long.

Taking to Twitter, one said: “How is Libby still an Uni? She went over 10 years ago!!”

Another wrote: “Is Libby STILL at uni?!”

A third penned: “Libby seems to have been in uni for a good 10 years now.”

Writing on a Digital Spy forum, one fan confirmed: “She has presumably finished it [her degree], if she started in 2010 (when she left EE in the summer) and studied for three years.

“When she made a brief return last year, she was working as a research assistant in Oxford.”

With sister Chelsea moving back onto the square… will Libby follow her?
