EASTENDERS fans are certain that Kush actor Davood Ghadami will make an epic return to Walford from beyond the grave as part of an upcoming soaps crossover,
EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale are just a few of the soaps joining forces for a collaborative event in aid of a good cause.
These popular soaps and others are banding together for the first time ever to raise awareness about climate change, meaning viewers will see their favourite characters from Walford pop up on Corrie’s cobbles, in Holby’s hospital and more.
The special episodes, which aim to raise awareness of mankind’s climate change crisis, will air from November 1 – the same week world leaders gather to discuss the issue at the COP26 Conference.
Fans of BBC’s hit show EastEnders are predicting the crossover will see Kush Kazemi make an unlikely return to London’s most famous fictional district – despite the character being killed off earlier in 2020.
Davood Ghadami, who plays Kush on Easties, also stars as Eli Ebrahimi in Holby City, another of the soaps involved in the upcoming crossover event.
Having a laugh, one fan said: “When Eli turns up in EastEnders and everyone has the shock of their lives thinking Kush is back from the dead.”
Davood has also commented on his potential appearance on the show, revealing it’s not totally outside the realms of possibility.
He wrote: “Stranger things have happened in soaps…”
They certainly have, but this would be a real shock in what promises to be an incredible crossover of telly universes.

Speaking to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she said: “It’s the first time it’s ever been done. In November, we’re going to be having the world’s first soap crossover. Now for the first time, all five British soaps – and our continuing dramas – they’re all going to come together and tell the same story at the same time. That story is going to be climate change.”
She added: “All of these people have been talking about it in secret for months and months to make this work and what they’re each going to do is film a scene, have a reference that is going to cover a different aspect of climate change and – this is the fun bit – a soap first.
“You’re going to see all the programmes do a nod to the other and characters will start popping up from one soap in another soap on screen. That has never been done before.”
The whole cross-universe thing was the brainchild of Emmerdale’s Executive Producer Jane Hudson, who managed to get a host of other soap producers on board.
Excited about her idea, she said: “Never before have all five soaps and both continuing dramas come together and united in telling one story. And we certainly haven’t seen characters pop up in other shows before. This is a real treat for our audience, whilst also allowing us to get across a very important message.”
