EastEnders fans have been busy trying to piece together the true identity of Theo Hawthorne, who was revealed as Stacey Slater's stalker in a recent episode. Theo, a school teacher, became obsessed with Stacey after discovering her account on Secret Cam.
The shocking reveal
In Monday night's episode, Theo broke into Stacey's house, trapping her in the kitchen while her daughter Lily was giving birth in the front room. Although Martin and Eve managed to get him out of the house, Theo revealed that he knows a lot about Stacey and her past.
The fan theories
As fans try to figure out how he gained so much knowledge about her, there has been speculation that Theo is working with someone from Stacey's past. One popular theory suggests that he is collaborating with former Walford resident Ruby Allen for revenge. Although Ruby is currently in prison, fans believe she could still be involved in the unfolding storyline.
A social media user proposed the theory, stating: "Theo really has done his research into Stacey. I wonder if he’s worked with an inside source (Ruby Allen potentially) to get the info he needs? Remember, Ruby and Stacey were friends for years pre their feud."
