EastEnders fans ‘work out’ identity of the Christmas murder victim after Sharon Watts’ shock betrayal

EASTENDERS fans have ‘worked out’ the identity of the Christmas murder victim.

The BBC One soap will air a whodunit this Christmas with six of Walford’s much-loved matriarchs are involved.

A flash forward episode previously aired which showed Sharon Watts in her wedding dress and five other guests all dressed up.

They were standing over an unidentified dead body, with cufflinks laying on the corpse.

In scenes that aired this week, fans watched as Lisa Fowler once again left Albert Square with Keanu’s daughter.

Desperate to spend more time with his daughter Peggy, the mechanic snatched both their passports.

However, as Lisa told Sharon to do the right thing and left Peggy be with her mum in Portugal, she relented.

She teamed up with Martin Fowler and Lisa soon left Walford as Keanu was devastated.

Sharon and Martin had both agreed not to tell Keanu they were involved in Peggy’s departure.

It’s led fans to think Keanu will eventually find out and a huge bust up will happen – potentially leading to his death.

Taking to social media, one said: “Hmmm maybe Keanu gets violent close to Christmas on his and Sharon’s wedding day and ends up in the pub.”

A second wrote: “If Keanu is the dead body, maybe he will find out about Sharon plan after the reception, and then he tries to attack her. Just one theory.”

“The closer it gets, the more I think Keanu is the body at Xmas,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “I’m thinking it could be Keanu who dies.”
