EastEnders fans ‘work out’ shocking comeback and murder twist with rapist

FANS have gone wild since finding out that six of Walford’s matriarchs will be involved in a murder mystery.

Some EastEnders viewers believe their victim could be one of the Square’s biggest troublemakers.

While many storylines have sometimes been thrown into oblivion, soap bosses have shown they can tie up loose ends once they set their minds to it.

Could this mean evil rapist Dean Wicks will come out of the woodwork, seven years after his last appearance?

Fans of the London-based program have been left at the edge of their seats since a flash-forward scene teased a shocking murder involving six of Walford’s most beloved ladies.

The scene was set during the upcoming festive period with a dead body laying face down close to the Christmas tree.

Sharon Watts, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale and Linda Carter are all due to be involved in the whodunnit – and viewers have been sharing their wildest theories.

One has begun to stand out from the rest as viewers believe they’ve spotted several clues in the flashforward scene and in recent soap moments that Dean Wicks will return to Walford only to be murdered shortly after.

The first clue they believe could confirm this theory is that all six women know Dean but only some of them look as though they have been involved in a fight or a struggle in the flashforward.

Linda (played by Kellie Bright), who was raped by Dean Wicks, is the first to display a cut lip, making viewers believe she may have been punched.

Prince Albert owner Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), on the other hand, was seen with a ripped dress while Sharon and Stacey (Letitia Dean and Lacey Turner) have blood on them.

Fans believe Dean could attack Linda and the others before meeting his Maker.

To top it all off, although it has been one of her statement accessories for a while, Denise’s (Diane Parish) “D” necklace has been interpreted as another clue Dean will be coming back.

Much like the other five women, Denise is very familiar with the troubled character as she once dated his father Kevin Wicks.

But have viewers guessed correctly?

Soap fans couldn’t help but theorise that Dean would be rocking up to the Square soon as Linda recently found out Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) had been in touch with him.

The tough woman left Walford after the supposed death of her son Mick and reconnected with both her sick son Dean and her daughter Carly Wicks.

Overwhelmed by memories of her rape ordeal, Linda confided in Kathy after spotting Dean in a snap with Shirley.

Kathy defiantly told her that she would be protected by her friends if Dean ever tried to make his way back to Walford.

Could Suki, Stacey, Sharon, Kathy and Denise all join forces to defend and save Linda, leading to Dean’s demise?

Viewers have less than ten months to figure it all out.
