A gunshot rang out – who got hurt?
Corrupt copper Samantha Keeble (played by Alison Newman) took her feud with Phil Mitchell to a deadly level.
In recent scenes, the owner of Kat’s Cabs (Jessie Wallace) was kidnapped alongside her son Tommy.
Walford tough man Phil went above and beyond to find her, going as far as to reluctantly join forces with Keanu Taylor, one of his biggest rivals.
Meanwhile, Kat and Tommy were taken to a warehouse by masked men before coming face to face with Keeble… and a gun.
The police officer lashed out at Tommy prompting Kat to fight back in an attempt to take control of Keeble’s gun.
After managing to track down Kat and Tommy’s location, Keanu and Phil arrived at the warehouse.
In true soap fashion, a gunshot rang out and the episode ended with a shot of Phil’s mortified face.
Off-screen, many BBC One viewers swarmed over to social media, hoping Kat was unscathed.
“Please tell me that was Keeble got shot not Kat & Tommy!!!”, one of them penned while another commented: “I hope Kat shot Keeble.”
One viewer questioned: “Yo who got shot?”

As mentioned above, Kat and Tommy were kidnapped by masked assailants in front of a terrified Alfie Moon, who was beaten.
Alfie furiously confronted Phil, telling him about Kat being taken away and blaming him for the ordeal as it was clear to him Samantha Keeble was hellbent on revenge.
The detective has felt the walls close in on her after Keanu handed over the gun she was using against the Mitchells and an incriminating recording was found.
With the evidence piling up against her, Keeble gave Phil a new decision to make – he has the choice to hand it all over or she will kill Kat and Tommy.
Could Phil compromise again and give her what she wants?
