Drama Unfolds as Phil and Kat's Relationship Hits a Roadblock
Things are changing in the Square for many different characters as drama continues to unfold. One EastEnders legend could be on her way out of Walford after receiving a surprising offer. It all begins when Phil encounters issues in his romance with Kat Slater. Sharon tries to talk some sense into both of them.
Kat Slater's Return Brings Tense Scenes to the Square
After leaving Walford to see her sister Little Mo, Kat Slater is back in the Square. However, her return leads to some tense scenes next week on BBC One. Not only does she find out that her son Tommy Moon has been acting out again, but her former husband Alfie Moon could be suffering from prostate cancer. The beloved character soon confronts her fiancé Phil Mitchell over keeping secrets – could it lead to them calling time on their relationship?
Phil Relies on Sharon for Support
While the future of Phil and Kat's relationship remains uncertain, Phil is able to rely on Sharon Watts who gives him a pep talk. Following their conversation, Phil attempts to make up with Kat by arriving at the cab office with chocolates, but his efforts are unsuccessful. In a state, Phil storms over to local wine bar Peggy's to be alone, but Emma Harding barges in and demands a G&T. Emma left Walford in a rush after reconnecting with her long-lost daughter Lola Pearce as she was unable to cope with her deteriorating health. How will her return be welcomed?
Sharon Considers Leaving the Square
Meanwhile, at the Vic, Sharon plays peacemaker between Phil and Kat by talking sense into her pal. Kat eventually considers giving Phil another chance and goes out looking for him. But neither of them will be able to count on Sharon for much longer. When boxing promotor Dorian enthuses to Sharon about the work opportunities and great lifestyle in Abu Dhabi, he suggests a move there could set her up for life. Sharon is initially dismissive but clearly intrigued. While at the Vic, Kat announces she and Phil are due to tie the knot the following week. Could Sharon leave the Square?
A Potential Temporary Exit for EastEnders Royalty
The EastEnders royalty, who has appeared in the show since its first ever episode aired on February 19, 1985, may be facing a potential departure from the Square. While a temporary exit is likely, Sharon is still due to take part in a Christmas murder mystery in December 2023. The whodunnit was teased in a sinister flashforward in February 2023, in which Sharon could be seen wearing a wedding dress. What's in store for her?
