EastEnders Lorraine Stanley looks NOTHING like Karen Taylor as she glams up for NTAs

EASTENDERS’ Lorraine Stanley looked NOTHING like her Walford alter ego Karen Taylor as she glammed up for last night’s National Television Awards.

The 45-year-old actress attended the glitzy bash alongside her co-stars, and shared a peek at her look on her social media page.

Lorraine wowed fans with her transformation

Ditching downtrodden Karen’s drab tracksuits and scraped-back bun, Lorraine wowed in a stunning gown with statement sleeves and a floral pattern.

She beamed as she clutched onto a glass of champagne – her hair styled into loose curls, and debuting a glam make-up look with bold red lipstick.

Lorraine simply captioned the post: “Let’s go! @bbceastenders @officialntas

The star wasn’t the only EastEnders favourite to look completely different at the bash, with Maddy Hill and Shona McGarty also undergoing transformations.

The pair play Nancy Carter and Whitney Dean in the BBC One soap, and looked sensational as they took to the red carpet.

Shona, 29, looked stunning as she stepped out in a floor-length green dress with a sexy slit at the knee, showing off her toned legs.

The ensemble complimented her dark red hair, which had been styled into beachy waves and tucked neatly behind her ears.

She looked a world away from character Whitney, who is normally seen in dark-coloured casual clothes, from jeans to baggy jumpers.

Meanwhile, her co-star Maddy stunned the crowd as she opted for a knee-length oriental-style satin dress with gold embellishment.

The blue and green number was complimented with snakeskin high heels and an usual bag that looked to be made out of stone.

Tomboy Nancy often wears sports gear and tracksuits on the soap, with the character even getting married in loungewear when she made her EastEnders debut in 2014.
