However, that dishwasher already has a bloody history – because that’s the same one Chantelle was murdered on by evil Gray.

The dishwasher had a real life effect, as actress Luisa said she injured herself on the show.

Watching the tense Christmas Day scenes, a viewer wrote: “i have so much fear for tina right now, not the f***ing knifes [sic.]”

Luisa wrote over it: “I actually put my hand thru them and had to be rushed to A&E whilst the whole crew stood down….”

Another viewer said she should treat the pain with alcohol, Luisa said: “Tequila sorts everything…”

Gray and Tina got embroiled in a bitter row after she said that Chantelle had been planning to leave him in front of his children.

Gray stormed out, but when he returned Tina apologised and had loaded the dishwasher.

Chantelle died after being pushed onto the knives

However, evil Gray told her that the knives were the wrong way up – and she turned them around so the blade faces up.

Fans will know that Chantelle died after Gray pushed her onto up facing knives on the dishwasher.

Luisa announced she was leaving the soap in October after seven years of playing the character.

The 45-year-old revealed the news on Instagram writing: “Finally the time has come to say goodbye to my EastEnders family.
