EASTENDERS’ Maisie Smith wowed fans as she showed off an edgy new lip piercing – after quitting her role as Tiffany in the BBC One soap.
The 20-year-old star showed off the bold look in a TikTok video, but it isn’t clear if the addition is real.
In the short clip, the flame-haired beauty is finishing off her make-up as she gushes over how well she has styled her eyebrows.
Her flame locks are tied into a sleek ponytail, and she has a pair of sunglasses on her head.
Maisie has added a pair of simple gold hoop earrings, nose stud, and also has a noticeable piece of jewellery in the centre of her bottom lip.
Unsure whether it was a piercing or a stick-on gem, followers flocked to the comment section to share their admiration.
One wrote: “Is that a lip piercing or just a jewel? Suits you.”
Another asked: “I love your lip piercing, I have a lip piercing also.”
A third said: “Is that an actual piercing!”
In the video, Maisie is admitting to her most “toxic” personality trait, sharing: “I heard we are exposing our toxic personality traits so I thought I’d let you know mine.
“Mine is keeping the price tag on expensive presents so people know how much I spent on them so when it’s my birthday…”
She playfully giggled, and added in the post’s caption: “P.s if there’s no price on it u can guarantee that shiz was from the charity shop”.
It’s a stark contrast to a TikTok shared by the star earlier this month, which concerned her followers after she filmed herself crying.
Maisie admitted to feeling “pointless” and “useless”, having recently filmed her final scenes as Tiffany Butcher in EastEnders.
She’d played the character for 13 years, but chose not to renew her contract when it expired in October.
Her character can currently still be seen on screen, with her exit storyline yet to be revealed.
