In the lead up to New Year’s Eve, viewers will see Mick reach breaking point when he realises he’s pushed his loved ones away. 

And as Katy continues to play mind games with Mick, viewers will see him consider taking his own life on New Year’s Eve.

But Mick will decide to stand up to Katy and confront her for what she did to him all those years ago.

EastEnders are keeping shtum, however, about whether Mick will finally speak out about Katy’s abuse.

Will he expose Katy?

EastEnders fans are hoping Katy will finally meet her downfall on the soap.

What has Danny Dyer said about Mick’s turning point?

Speaking about Mick’s huge decision over the new year period, Danny Dyer revealed: “It’s the turning point in that he finally understands what’s going on and what happened to him when he was a child but he’s still got a very, very long journey to go.

“It’s certainly the beginning of the end, in terms of him accepting that he was abused and realising why he’s been struggling for so long. 

“Mick opening up to other people about it is really an important part of his journey too.”
