The star glammed up for a night out on Saturday evening

Natalie, 38, who has played much-loved character Sonia Fowler since she first appeared in Walford in 1993, got all glammed up for the occasion.

Taking a short clip of her new look to show off to her social media fans, she explained she was “ready for a little party”.

Looking very different from her character, who is often seen with slick-backed hair and oversized jumpers, Natalie let her hair down in loose curls.

The actress opted for a light palette of make-up, including mascara, black eye liner and a nude glossy lip for the special night out.

She donned a low-cut black dress and accessorised with a large black necklace as she chatted to her fans in the brief clip.

“Oh, I thought it was a photo,” Natalie explained. “Off to celebrate Ellia’s birthday tonight. Got all glammed up, all dolled up, haven’t I?

“You know what I mean? I’m ready for a little party!”

She went on to post a snap of herself and Elia – who looked equally glam – as she tagged her sister wrote: “Let’s celebrate.”

It comes days after the proud mum gushed over her daughter Eliza after revealing she had taken part in the Junior Great British Bake Off.

The EastEnders actress only shared the news that it was her daughter after the young baker lost her place in the tent.

She admitted she had initially dashed Eliza’s hopes of even getting on the show – but was now full of admiration for her, saying she is “the proudest mum alive”.

Sharing a picture of the youngster with a mixing bowl and whisk, Natalie gushed: “This is Eliza. She was 10 and decided to enter for the Junior Bake Off.

“I said, oh Eliza, you’ll never get through, thousands apply and I don’t want you to be disappointed. She got through.

“Her confidence, determination and maturity has blown me away. I am proud of my daughters everyday. But to watch one of them be so kind and helpful to others in the tent every night this week, has made me the proudest mum alive.

“I haven’t said much about it. Nothing to do with me whatsoever. This was her adventure. Thank you @britishbakeoff for having her and looking after her.

“My advice to all. When your child wants to do something don’t stop them. Dreams do come true.”

Natalie shared Eliza with her former boyfriend Adam Cottrell and she is also mum to Joanie with her husband – EastEnders cameraman Marc Humphreys.
