Ian’s ears prick up when Sharon talks about finally consummating their marriage.

But will her deadly dinner go to plan?
What is Sharon poisoning Ian with?
Sharon has been attempting to poison her new husband for days by slipping crushed pills into his food and drink.
But with everyone in the Square starting to notice how ill Ian looks, Sharon will panic that Kathy is onto her next week and express her doubts about going ahead with the murder plan to Phil.
Phil tells Sharon he’ll get something stronger that will finish Ian off once and for all.
What poison is he planning this time?
Viewers will have to wait and see.
Does Ian Beale die in EastEnders?
It’s not yet clear whether Ian dies as a result of Sharon’s scheming.
But speaking about Sharon’s murder plan, Letitia Dean – who plays Sharon in the BBC One soap – has revealed her character is hell-bent on getting revenge for Denny’s death: “She is completely driven at this point – not thinking of anything else – she just wants Ian gone.”
Speaking about Sharon’s motives, she continued: “Well I always knew that after what happened on the boat with Denny, that secret was never going to be forgotten, especially as there are such strong feelings involved,” she said.
“After months of lies and leaning on her best friend whilst grieving – the one person that was there for her turned out to be the reason behind Sharon’s pain.
“As far as Sharon’s concerned, Ian very much deserved it. It’s something of a lucky coincidence in Sharon’s eyes that Ian’s managed to provoke half the Square into a murderous rage at the same time – that certainly took the heat off of her and Phil whilst they were plotting!”
