EastEnders spoilers: Arthur Fowler devastated as grandma Jean drops horrifying bombshell on him

THE truth about Kush Kazemi’s death has finally come to light but remains shocking for his loved ones.

Unfortunately, Jean Slater crosses a line next week in EastEnders when she drops the bombshell on his son Arthur Fowler.

Walford residents cope with the aftermath of Gray’s downfall

Stacey finally knows the truth about Kush’s death

Stacey Slater is worried about her mother Jean (played by actress Gillian Wright) well-being as she goes through a manic episode.

When the cleaner blocks the Walford market by purchasing a bouncy castle for all the kids, the owner of Stacey’s Baps is mortified as she spots her mother on the castle… before she accidentally hurts Arthur (Hunter Bell).

Jean embarrasses herself and is joined by Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) who is soon scolded by Stacey for not understanding Jean’s condition.

Following the encounter, Stacey makes a huge decision and bans her mother from spending time alone with the kids.

Jean is hurt by this and, later on, confronts Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), insisting she’s more than capable of looking after the children.

However, she proves herself wrong when she manages to slip out to the tube station with her grandson Arthur – where she tells him his biological father Kush was actually murdered by serial killer Gray Atkins.

Unlike other and older Albert Square residents, six-year-old Arthur had no clue his father was pushed in front of an oncoming train by the lawyer as Kush planned to flee to Dubai with his son and fiancée, Whitney Dean.

After letting the truth slip to Arthur, Jean triggers a huge argument with Stacey, who soon finds out what she has done.

Things escalate and Jean makes an important decision.

Harvey and Rocky Cotton are shocked when Jean walks into their home, announcing she’s moving and declaring Stacey dead to her.

The Slaters are known for their no-nonsense tempers and frequent arguing but can they overcome the shock of Kush’s murder?

Last week, Gray’s villainous actions were finally exposed after almost three years of impunity.

As mentioned above, these included Kush’s death but also the murders of Tina Carter and his first wife Chantelle.

Prior to her death, Chantelle had also been abused for several years.

Gray was caught and arrested for his crimes, as Walford residents turned their backs on him.

He told Whitney the truth about Kush’s death as he was attempting to end his life and the latter has been spreading the word since.

Can Jean and Stacey ever make amends?
