LOLA Pearce and Jay Brown finally got hitched in recent weeks and headed off to enjoy their honeymoon.
When they return next week in EastEnders, they both ask a favour from Ben Mitchell, unaware he’s keeping a huge secret.

After being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) came to terms with the fact she doesn’t have long left to live.
This made her hesitant when her partner Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) popped the question during the festive period but, when she realised he was the only one for her and he was determined to stand by her no matter what, Lola agreed to walk down the aisle with him.
The couple tied the knot in emotional scenes that left BBC One viewers in tears as they remembered how many obstacles the lovebirds had to overcome to finally get their happy ending.
Lola and Jay then left Albert Square to enjoy a drama-free honeymoon.
But all good things come to an end and the newlyweds finally return to Walford in scenes due to air next week.
As they do so, both Lola and Jay are reminded of their money woes, deciding to seek help.
They separately ask Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) to help them out financially.
A reliable friend for the pair, Ben unequivocally agrees to support them both… making sure they never find out he’s been keeping a big secret from them.
The Arches mechanic has been a great source of support for Lola and Jay as they came to terms with the former’s condition.
Ben also had to think of his daughter Lexi who will soon have to grow up without a mother as Lola’s death was recently confirmed in a flashforward scene of the London-based drama.
Recent months have shown him trying to cope with the trauma of his rape, which took place last year.
As viewers will painfully remember, Ben was assaulted by former Prince Albert manager Lewis Butler following a drunken night out.
For several weeks, he was unable to face the reality of the crime and spiralled out of control, isolated from his loved ones.
Ben turned to drugs and even suffered an overdose before his husband Callum, Jay, his mother Kathy and his father Phil took matters into their own hands to help him.
