AFTER the Cotton family took centre stage during the 2021 festive season, Dotty is left to pick up the pieces.
And with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) determined to make things difficult for her, the club manager is forced to sleep on the streets.

All secrets and lies rose up to the surface in a shocking episode aired on Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25, 2021) on BBC One.
For months, Tom “Rocky” Cotton (Brian Conley) posed as Sonia Fowler’s (Natalie Cassidy) long-lost father in a bid to cash in on Dot Cotton’s (June Brown) inheritance money.
The latter moved away to Galway, in Ireland, in 2020, leaving her fortune to her step-grand-daughter Sonia.
Rocky was assisted in his plan by his niece Dotty (Milly Zero).

But as the stress and guilt built up, Rocky found it extremely hard to lie to a woman who is not his daughter and decides to write her a letter.
He suffered a heart attack whilst coming clean about his schemes.
Things went from bad to worse on Christmas Day as Rocky is stuck, leaving Sonia (as well as Kathy, played by Gilliam Taylforth) assuming he would be spending the day with her.
Faced with Dotty’s despondent attitude, Rocky becomes frustrated and shares offensive words about her mother Sandy.
All hell breaks lose when Sandy not only reveals to Dotty that Rocky is her biological father, but also when the youngster’s plan is revealed to all.
Thrown out of the house by an angry Sonia, Dotty is also kicked out of the pub by Mick (Danny Dyer) after Kathy spills the beans.
Aware that she is homeless, Vinny comes clean to his mother Suki in a new episode of EastEnders, set to air on Monday, January 10, 2022.
Vinny confesses to Suki that Dotty has been staying at the bedsit but his mother is in no mood for kindness.
She subsequently tells her son that Dotty will be evicted unless she pays for her stay, forcing Vinny to break the news to Dotty.
Desperate for a place to stay, Dotty asks Nancy for a job at the gym but gets rejected.
The sad scene does not go unnoticed: Rocky and Sonia (far from pleased after bumping into him) spot Dotty.
This prompts a worried Rocky to approach his biological daughter at Ruby’s, offering her financial help but he doesn’t have enough.
Dotty is then found in a sleeping bag at the club by Zack who reminds her of the alarm system.
The bartender then does what most in his profession do by giving his best piece of advice to Dotty.
He urges her to swallow her pride and call Sonia for help.
But how will Dotty respond?
Will Dotty really reach out to Sonia after their Christmas Day drama?
