CORONATION STREET’S PETER BARLOW PUNCHES DAD KEN IN THE FACE!
PETER Barlow will violently lash out at his dad Ken as he tries to stop him boozing.
The alcoholic – played by Chris Gascoyne in the ITV soap – is dying of liver failure and has refused all potential options to save his life.
Peter hits rock bottom this week as he write’s his son Simon a suicide letter – and reads out his words in front of the teenager.
A devastated Simon returns home tand confides in his grandad about what happened, and Ken can’t believe his ears.
Ken storms out and finds Peter boozing yet again and, when Ken begs him to stop drinking, Peter’s emotions get the better of him.
Peter uses his fists to show how he’s feeling towards his dad and gives him a big thump in the face…

EASTENDERS SPOILERS: KATY LEWIS’ OTHER VICTIMS DISCOVERED
KATY Lewis’ other victims are discovered by a horrified Linda Carter this week in EastEnders.
The truth about the abuse Mick Carter suffered at the hands of his former care worker Katy came exploding out in recent scenes.
Viewers will see Frankie prepare to visit the crematorium for the anniversary of her little brother Harry.
She introduces Linda to Jed, Harry’s brother, who explains that Harry’s dad was never around much.
Linda suspects there might be something more to the story and pushes Jed to talk about Harry’s dad, but she touches a nerve and causes Jed to storm out.
Later in the week, viewers will see Linda and Mick discuss Katy’s other abuse victims but, when Mick tries to get through to Frankie, she begs him not to turn her mother into the police.
EASTENDERS FANS CONVINCED ‘HOMELESS IAN BEALE’ WILL RETURN
EASTENDERS fans think the latest drama in Albert Square will see the return of one of soap’s most iconic characters – homeless Ian Beale.
Viewers watched the fish mogul slink out away from Walford after surviving being poisoned with a spaghetti carbonara in recent scenes.
But now, some fans predict that with nowhere to live, Ian could find himself homeless again just like in 2012.
The bizarre moment he hit rock-bottom and began living in the Square with a long straggly beard bewildered viewers.
But many think it could be coming back, with one writing: “So I take it Ian’s gonna reappear 6 months later as homeless Ian.”
Another tweeted: “I dunno if I can cope with homeless Ian again. It’s taken me 10 years to recover from last time.”
CORONATION STREET’S GAIL REIGNITES HER FEUD WITH EILEEN!
GAIL Platt reignites her feud with Eileen Grimshaw this week in Coronation Street by hitting on George Shuttleworth after discovering he is her cousin.
Undertaker George has already been flirting with Mary and Eileen since his arrival in October 2020, when he staged a fake funeral for Eileen’s son Todd.
Gail retrieves a box of family photos from the factory and is shocked to find a picture of a lady called Fanny, who she later works out is her grandmother on a genealogy website.
Later, Gail tells Nick that she’s agreed to meet up with someone going by the name of Top Hat who claims Fanny is their great grandmother as well.
Viewers will see Gail join Audrey in the Rovers, who’s having a drink with Archie’s son George, only to discover that Top Hat is none other than George.
Gail and George are delighted to realise they share a set of great grandparents, Fanny and Augustus Page.
But when Mary and Eileen call at the pub, they’re upset to see George focused on Gail.
When a showdown erupts between the three women of Weatherfield, George worries what he’s got himself into.
