Tommy is questioned by the police over his involvement in Sid’s stabbing

In upcoming scenes, Kat discovers her son’s involvement in Sid’s stabbing and hands Tommy over to police officer Jack.

Tommy fears the worst when Jack arrives and tells a shocked Kat and Stacey that Sid accused Tommy of stabbing him.

Lily lies to the adults and gives him an alibi but Stacey later tells Kat she thinks Lily is lying.

Kat is horrified when she finds the knife and calmly confronts Tommy who confesses what happened.

Wanting to do what’s right for her son, Kat calls Jack leaving Tommy mortified.

Later in the week, Tommy is interviewed by the police and he explains it was an accident, as Kat remains by his side.

The panicked mum later visits Phil in prison and confronts him for his influence on Tommy, convinced he is partly to blame for this.

It all becomes too much for Kat as she breaks down at the prison and Phil does his best to support her.

But things are set to get a lot worse for the family when they find out that Tommy has been suspended from school.

Kat returns home fuming but is shocked to see Scarlett’s social worker is there to talk about the final hearing.

Over the past few weeks Tommy has been struggling to face his bullies.

Taking matters into his own hands, he irresponsibly puts a knife in his bag to protect himself, but this leaves Lily horrified, insisting that it could put him in more danger.

In recent instalments, the youngster asked for Phil Mitchell‘s (Steve McFadden) help, which led to the tough man to find Tina Carter’s remains in the Argee Bhajee – before being arrested.

With Phil behind bars, Tommy knew he wouldn’t be able to count on him to face the bullies but has refused to ask for any more help despite his mother Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) asking to know if the bullying has stopped.

Recently, the owner of Kat’s Cabs has been fully convinced Tommy stole money from her business.

She remains unaware that the culprit was actually her cousin Jean (Gillian Wright), who is enjoying her rekindled relationship with cabbie Harvey Monroe.
