DESPITE filing for divorce, Linda Carter has struggled to move on from her marriage with Mick Carter.

The Vic landlord played by Danny Dyer has left Albert Square alongside Janine Butcher to be with his two sons, Johnny and Lee.
Meanwhile, Linda (portrayed by Kellie Bright) has been left in charge of the local pub and received the surprising help of returning character Alfie Moon.
In scenes due to air next week on BBC One, Mick and Janine return to Walford from their trip.
Since Linda’s comeback ahead of Tina Carter’s funeral, fans of the London-based drama were hopeful to see her reunited with her flame.

It’s even clear the pair still harbour feelings for one another, despite Linda’s alcoholism leading to the breakdown of their union.

Known for her scheming and manipulative tactics, the EastEnders villain has managed to drive a wedge between Mick and Linda in an attempt to keep her man at her side.
This included leaving Linda for dead after a car crash and hoping she didn’t remember anything about it.
Janine recently found out she was pregnant but was ready to take a huge step behind Mick’s back.

Janine is set for a dramatic exit of her own at the beginning of the new year, just as her on-screen brother Ricky (played by Sid Owen) will be returning to the Square.
