EastEnders viewers already know that, in her quest for work, Stacey received her wife Eve’s (Heather Peace) help.
In previous episodes, the former convict altered Stacey’s CV to get her the position in Walford’s Bridge Street market, following Bob Lister’s (Nick Wilton) departure from the borough in December.
But her efforts were vain as Martin was the one to receive the job offer.
Martin turned the offer down after realising how much Stacey wanted the job, determined for her life to get back to normal after being released from prison.
The Slater family is also in desperate need of extra cash.
Since Stacey’s release, Martin has been adamant on mending his relationship with his former wife following drama caused by Ruby Allen.
But what will happen if Stacey was to be hurt?
Although she tied the knot with Stacey out of convenience, Eve remains very protective of her.
Could she retaliate against Martin if her wife was to be in an accident?
Will Stacey really be hurt or will Martin jump in to save her?
