OVERWHELMED by her mother’s struggle with her bipolar disorder, Stacey Slater barely has a minute to herself.
However, the food van owner portrayed by Lacey Turner gives everyone a scare when she collapses next week in EastEnders.
After finding out her daughter Lily has been taken some of Jean’s (played by Gillian Wright) bipolar medication, Stacey believed she had no choice but to call an ambulance to make sure the youngster wasn’t in any danger.
But prior to this, Stacey had a nasty exchange with her mother, snapping at her in the process.
Highly reactive due to her own mental health struggles and her recent manic episode, Jean pushed Stacey into the bar – but the latter decided nobody needed to know what had happened when calling for help.
In scenes due on our screens next week, she comes to the realisation she could have been wrong.

Coming up, Stacey returns from the hospital with Lily (Lillia Turner) who was kept overnight.
Stacey dismisses Jean’s worries about her injury although is hopeful to see her so concerned as it could be a sign of the cleaner getting better.
Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), on the other hand, doesn’t get her hopes up and upon seeing Stacey’s wound, wonders if Jean should go back to hospital.
Outside, Stacey then bumps into her former flame Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) who picks up that something is not right with her.
She eventually reveals what Jean did to her… before collapsing, leaving Kheerat horrified.
An ambulance is called and Kheerat is worried to hear that Stacey could be developing sepsis.
Knowing her life is at risk, the businessman has a tough choice to make but quickly resolves to tell the doctor what happened between her and her mother Jean.
