ALL EastEnders fans know it: Stuart Highway has never been the one to shy away from a fight.
But in tonight’s instalment of the BBC One soap, the barman will have yet another brawl with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) over Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks).
In recent weeks, Stuart has been attempting to come to terms with his deteriorating health.
Back in December, 2021, Ricky Champ’s character was devastated to find out he had been diagnosed with male breast cancer.
And after misleading his wife Rainie by first telling her his friend Sonia Fowler was the one to suffer from the illness, Stuart has been holding her at arm’s length.
But he soon got the wrong end of the stick.

When Rainie received flowers from Mick after helping him during a panic attack in earlier episodes of EastEnders, Stuart was beginning to suspect Rainie is having an affair with the pub landlord.
Things go from bad to worse when Stuart spots his other half meeting up with Mick in Walford after following her.
But emotions run high after Mick – who has been estranged from his wife Linda – gets confronted by Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) over a supposed affair.
Believing Jay to be talking about Rainie, Stuart can no longer be convinced of the contrary.
In new scenes set to air this Friday on BBC One, Stuart is unable to control his anger after jumping to the conclusion Rainie is cheating on him with Mick.
A furious Stuart reaches the end of his rope and lets his temper get the best of him… by punching Mick.
Little does Stuart know that Jay was, in fact, speaking in reference to Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) whom Mick has been helping amid her investigation by social services.
Mick has agreed to fake being a couple with Walford villain in order to get her closer to her daughter Scarlett, under one condition: no other resident must know he is helping her.
This wouldn’t be the first time Mick and Stuart resort to being physical.
But will Stuart realise his mistake before things truly get out of hand?
Find out tonight.
EastEnders airs at 8:30pm on BBC One.
