Fans predict Ravi could be the dead body in the flash forward scene

Viewers have been left guessing who will meet their untimely end this coming Christmas after the flash forward scene.

In the scene, set in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) was wearing a wedding dress as a man’s dead body lay on the ground.

Also present were Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Denise Branning (Diane Parish), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).

Fans have recently theorised that the corpse is Ravi on Christmas day.

Taking to Twitter, one said: “Convinced the Christmas Day death is Nish or Ravi. Hoping it’s Nish though because Ravi is such a good character.”

Another wrote: “It’s definitely Ravi getting killed at Christmas 100%”

A third penned: “Got a feeling it’s Ravi that dies at Christmas. He’s managed to piss off half the square so far.”

Talking to Inside Soap about the fan theories, Aaron said: “I can’t escape the fan theories. The comments have been lovely though – people say: ‘No, you can’t be the body on the floor!’

“But Ravi has lots of enemies, and plenty of characters want to see the back of him.

“What I will say is there’s a lot to come in the next few months, and it goes up a notch in terms of what that might mean for Ravi in the lead-up to Christmas.”

Ravi has made enemies with the Branning’s and Fox’s after his affair with Denise was exposed, and that he also blackmailed her.

The Taylor and Mitchell families also have bad blood with Ravi after he beat up Keanu (Danny Walters) and hospitalised him.

Suki also has reason to want him out of the picture as she currently believes that she killed business partner Ranveer.

However, it was actually Ravi who did the deed, and he has let her live with the guilt.

Aaron’s character Ravi has been nominated for Villain Of The Year at this year’s British Soap Awards.

Talking about being nominated, Aaron said: “It’s strange because I don’t see Ravi as an out-and-out villain, though he’s done villainous things.

“He has many different faces and shades to him, and there are reasons why he’s doing these things though that doesn’t justify it.

“We really wanted to strike on the note of a character that you love to hate.”

EastEnders airs Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One.
