The 28-year-old actor was visibly shocked as he climbed out of his wrecked Mercedes CLA in broad daylight. Onlookers were equally stunned as they witnessed the aftermath of the accident, with the front bumper of Bowden's car hanging off and the vehicle possibly deemed a write-off.

Passers-by were quick to recognize the EastEnders star amidst the chaos. Jack Hanlon, a witness to the incident, shared, "We just saw this car was absolutely demolished and then my girlfriend said, 'Is that Ben Mitchell?' He looked pretty stunned by the whole thing. He must have been pretty badly shaken up."
