Actress Pleads for Help on Twitter

Michelle Collins, known for her role as Cindy in EastEnders, was left stranded in Malaga after losing her passport. The 61-year-old took to Twitter to ask for assistance from her airline, EasyJet, in order to fly back home. She expressed her frustration with the situation and explained that the police had informed her it was up to the airline to allow her to board the flight.

Misses Filming for EastEnders

Unfortunately, Collins was unable to make it back in time for filming EastEnders. As a result, she had to miss out on shooting for the popular soap opera. She updated her fans on Twitter, thanking them for their support and revealing that she had gone to the embassy and applied for an emergency document. She planned to go to the embassy when it opened in the morning.

Trolls Misunderstand Her Plea

Some trolls misunderstood Collins' plea for assistance and made derogatory comments. They suggested that EasyJet couldn't let her on board just because she was a celebrity. Collins responded to these comments, expressing her frustration and stating that she was simply stressed about the situation.

A Return to EastEnders

Collins recently made a comeback to EastEnders after her character, Cindy Beale, faked her own death in 1998. She became a well-known household name after joining the show in 1988 and becoming one of Ian Beale's six wives. Her character had a tumultuous storyline, including affairs, kidnapping her own children, and even hiring a hitman to kill Ian. This ultimately led to her character being sent to prison and later killed off-screen.

A Surprising Twist

In a surprising twist, Michelle Collins returned to EastEnders earlier this year as Cindy Beale. It was revealed that her character had actually been in witness protection all along. This unexpected storyline brought back a beloved character and added a new layer of drama to the show.

Collins spent the festive season in Spain, but her trip took an unexpected turn when she lost her passport. Despite the setback, she remained positive and reassured her fans that she was safe.
