EASTENDERS star Scott Maslen has sparked a row with a neighbour over plans for a new roof terrace at his £1.8million London townhouse.
Actor Scott, 52, who plays Jack Branning in the BBC soap, wants to add another floor to his four-storey terraced pad in North London, and has applied to the council for planning permission.

But a resident who lives nearby has objected to the proposed development at all five houses in the terrace, saying it will block out daylight from her front room.
She has also cited loss of privacy, noise and dirt from building work and access for emergency services to the block where the former The Bill star lives with his DJ and singer wife Estelle.
And she claimed Maslen’s next door neighbour had been forced to move out while their home was being renovated after a water leak from the top floor.
In a letter to the council, she wrote: “The renovation of this house has already caused me some inconvenience due to the width of the road.
“There is insufficient space for skips to be moved or deliveries of building materials to be made and I have been asked to move my car to enable access to be gained on a regular basis.
“If this is just one house, what will it be like if five have building approval and the extensions are carried out at the same time.”
She added: “There will be no sky visible from the rooms at the front of my house. It will be like living opposite a block of flats. Five floors will change the appearance.
“I would also like to know if anyone from the council has actually visited the site where the limitations of the site will become apparent.”
The soap heartthrob commissioned surveyors to carry out a Daylight and Sunlight Report to assess the impact on nearby residents.
It said: “The results of the assessment undertaken demonstrates that the proposals will not have a significant effect on the neighbours’ daylight and sunlight, both in isolation and when considered cumulatively.”
Scott has been married to wife Estelle since 2008 after meeting in London to watch the 1999 solar eclipse.
The smitten pair often give fans an insight into their family life on social media with pictures from holidays, their beloved dog Chewbacca and their hobbies.
They bought their four-bedroom pad for £1.2million in July, 2008, two months before they tied the knot.
The property has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a patio garden and an existing roof terrace, and is now believed to be worth £1.8million.
Officials at his local council are expected to make a decision on the roof terrace next month.
Other famous residents who live nearby include singers Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Sam Smith and Boy George, actress Helena Bonham Carter, and comedians Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr and David Baddiel.
The Celeb Report has contacted Scott’s representatives for comment.
