EASTENDERS stars Jamie Borthwick, Jake Wood and Dean Gaffney reunited in celebration of Jake’s latest off-screen performance.
The stars gathered together for a meal to congratulate Jake on his A Ghost Story performance.

Taking to Instagram, Jamie, 28, who plays Jay Brown on the hit BBC soap, captioned the picture, saying: ” Its Gaff’s pose that gets me.”
He added: “Friends reunited…great show @mrjakewood.”
Jamie shared with fans their lavish meal that included oysters.
Jake, 50, reprised his role for the West End production earlier this year after Hugo Chegwin fell ill during rehearsals. And he also stars alongside Cheryl Cole, who is following in the footsteps of Laura Whitmore and singer Lily Allen.
Jake originally starred in the production back in 2021. Speaking of his reprised role, he said: “It was an honour to originate the role of Ben at the Noel Coward, winning a WhatsOnStage Award for 2022, and I am so excited to be rejoining the cast until the end of April.
He added: “Danny Robins’ script is funny, touching, and so entertaining and easily the best play I have ever read. If you’ve seen the show before, come back and see it again and I promise that you will enjoy it just as much as I know I will the second time around.”
And his former castmates were on hand to support him. Jake quit Eastenders in September 2020 after 15 years and his exit, which aired the following year was nothing short of explosive.
Dean Gaffney, who played Robbie Jackson in the soap, first joined the show in 1993. But since his departure in 2003, he returned to Albert Square off and on.
However, it was decided in 2019 that he would no longer return on the back of alleged concerns over his off-screen behaviour.
