EASTENDERS fans are convinced Gray Atkins will murder Tina Carter after she confronted him about killing wife Chantelle.
In tonight’s episode barmaid Tina finally confronted Gray about being an abusive husband – and put herself in mortal danger.
Viewers have known for months that Gray pushed Chantelle onto an upturned knife in the dishwasher.
He then watched as she lay dying in agony, carefully staging the scene to make it look like a tragic accident.
Only Kheerat Panesar and Tina have any inkling Gray is anything more than a devoted and bereaved husband.
And tonight Tina finally realised that Gray had murdered his wife – and confronted him in explosive scenes.
Gray discovered from the police that Tina was about to be cleared of Ian’s attack – but instead of telling her, he lied to make her think she needed to run.
But as she prepared to flee Walford she ran into the officer himself and he dropped Gray in it.
Tina stormed into the house and confronted the killer alone.
She told him: “ I’m not leaving Gray. I’m not leaving because of a liar – I mean you.
“It’s the thought of me not leaving that scares you. You want me gone. I don’t blame her for wanting to leave you. People like you – I see you. I bet she was terrified, terrified of her own husband. And now you’re frightened of me because I am onto you.
“I see you Gray. And she saw it too, didn’t she? That night in this kitchen she finally found the strength. Finally stopped pretending you would ever change. It wasn’t an accident, was it? You killed her. You murdered your wife.”
The episode ended with Gray looking enraged at Tina’s claims and viewers are terrified she will be murdered.
Her family already believe she is going on the run to avoid prison for the attack on Ian Beale.
And viewers think Gray will kill her and no-one will know she is dead.
