EASTENDERS fans have been left convinced that a legendary character is about to make their way back onto Albert Square.
Fans have been left certain that Grant Mitchell, played by Ross Kemp, will be making a return to the hit BBC One soap following a tease from his on-screen brother Phil, played by Steve McFadden.
Grant hasn’t been seen for a few years
Fans are convinced the brothers will reunite
Phil made a phone call to a mystery person in which he declared: “It’s me, I need your help”.
Phil has found himself at the height of trouble following DCI Keeble’s recent reign of terror.
Phil has become a man on a mission as he attempts to keep Billy Mitchell out of prison for the murder in DCI Keeble’s father’s killing.
Despite all being present at the historical event, it was Phil’s father who committed the crime and now Phil has taken on the responsibility of protecting the innocent Billy.

Willing to do what it takes, Phil made the mysterious phone call and headed off with a bag packed.
Grant was there during the 1979 warehouse robbery where Keeble’s father was working as a security guard encouraging her to get her own back.
As he headed out of Walford, fans took to Twitter to share their premonitions that it is Grant he has gone to see.
One excited fan wrote: “It HAS to be Grant that Phil was calling, cannot think of anyone else that would make sense? #EastEnders.”
Another exclaimed: “PLEASE SAY IT’S GRANT PHIL WAS RINGING.”
While a third boasted: “Grant Mitchell is coming back .. Pass it on #eastenders”.
