EASTENDERS hardman Jonah Tyler is meddling with the Mitchell’s – yet eagle-eyed soap fans have been hit with a sense of deja vu.
Actor Mark Mooney has resumed his role as Phil Mitchell’s gangster acquaintance as Sam Mitchell attempts to cause trouble.
The businesswoman – who is played by actress Kim Medcalf in the BBC soap – made her comeback to Walford earlier this week and has already ruffled a lot of feathers.
She called a meeting with Kat and Sharon in front of Jonah – who was less than impressed by their bickering and backed out of the deal, urging them to watch their back.
Sam later visited Jack Branning and said she would take him to court to get custody of her son unless he helped her get some dirt on Jonah.
“I need your help Jack with a business proposition,” Sam said.

“Something has not quite gone to plan and I was thinking that there was no hope and I remembered you and your detective badge and I realised that you can make my problem just go away.”
But Jack was adamant that he wanted no involvement with the dodgy dealings – which prompted Sam to blackmail him.
“Do you really think you can blackmail me,” Jack raged.
The ruthless business woman replied: “Either you help me or you can say adios to your son, it’s your choice.”
Yet loyal EastEnders will recall how they have encountered bespectacled Jonah before.
He lived true to his tough guy status even back in 1998, when he held Phil Mitchell hostage.
Along with an accomplice, he charged to Phil’s home before tying him to a kitchen chair.
Steve McFadden’s character was interrogated as he tried to insist he had “quit” his criminal past and abandoned his role with henchman George.
Jonah, unconvinced, slurred: “So who do you work for now, the United Nations?”
Phil retorted: “I work for myself, I fix cars.
“I’m through with all that business.”
The character first appeared on the soap in 1997, with his initial stint continuing into the following year.

He made his BBC comeback this month.
