Ekin-Su has confessed that she has no place to change following criticism of her ‘sexiest outfit ever’ during week 1 of Dancing on Ice.
The Love Island champ caused controversy during her routine to Toxic by Britney Spears sparking a flurry of Ofcom complaints over her raunchy attire.
Ekin-Su has hit back at her critics
She wowed in the raunchy outfit but some viewers were left unhappy
But the TV personality has remained defiant and insisted that she will not tone down the sexiness and that women should celebrate themselves.
In a chat with the Daily Star, she said: “Every woman, it doesn’t matter who you are, what your age is or how you look, should feel sexy.”
She continued: I think sexy gets taken differently. It’s not about cleavage, legs and bum.
“It’s about the knowledge you have, it’s about the way you carry yourself, the way you speak to people, it’s knowing who you are and embracing it.”
She found herself in the bottom two during her first skate but after improvement managed to sail through musicals week ahead of tonight’s show.
Addressing the initial backlash and disappointment at landing the bottom two, she added: “I’m not going to just back off anymore, I’m going to be confident again.
“I’m going to fight. I’m here, I’m ready. I’m going to shine and I’m going to be me again.”
She also revealed that despite her plans to be strong, she was shocked and upset at the response to her first skate.
Ekin-Su said: “I had negative feedback, which saddened me. I’m not going to lie after all that happened, I was crying a lot.
“I went home, I cried in Davide’s arms. Before it affected me, now it doesn’t because I’ve trained my mind where I read it and I’m not bothered.”
Dancing on Ice airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
