EMBARRASSING Bodies viewers were left sickened after a man’s ear oozed green and smelly pus.
The mortified man said it had made him socially anxious and had been happening for years.
The construction worker confessed he had to constantly wipe the green gunk away with cotton wool.
He was examined by Dr Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo, who said the rancid liquid looked like a “reservoir of fluid” and had an “offensive smell”.
A nervous Ethan, 27, admitted his love life and confidence had suffered a huge blow owing to the mucus pouring from his ear canal ALL day.
He said about the leakage that had impacted his hearing: “I’ve almost got OCD now because I’m generally a really hygienic person and I take care of myself.

“Pus comes out of my ear throughout the day, really.
“I have something in the ear to stop the ear leaking or I’m pretty much cleaning the ear all day. People point out that my ear is leaking a little bit.”
Eventually, Dr Tosin diagnosed Ethan with cholesteatoma, a build-up of dead skin cells deep inside the ear.
It had caused an infection and a cyst to grow in the ‘middle ear’ which produced the fountain of pus.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “Oh God that ear infection looks gross. 
”
Another said: “Pretty bad this man’s GP didn’t sort his ear out.”

Ethan was referred to an ENT (ears, nose and throat) specialist, who said he could have gone deaf and suffered brain damage if it had been left untreated.
After a three hour operation to remove all of the red and infected skin inside the ear, Ethan was cured.
