EMILIA Clarke has left Game of Thrones fans in tears after posting never-before-seen pics from behind-the-scenes of the HBO show.
The actress took to social media to celebrate as her co-star Iain Glen, who played Ser Jorah Mormont in the fantasy series, joined Instagram yesterday.
Emilia, 34, who played Daenerys Targaryen in the show, shared a number of photos of her and Iain, 60, together both on and off set.
Iain could be seen wearing a leather jacket with make-up on his face to make him appear bloodied and bruised, while Emilia wore her blonde wig.
In a second shot, the pair cosied up together to shield from the cold, with the actress in an oversized furry coat and Iain smiling behind her.
Other snaps off set saw Iain serenade Emilia with his guitar-playing skills, and in a fourth, they appeared to be at a party alongside her co-star.
“The man. The myth. The LEGEND HAS JOINED INSTAGRAM,” the Daenerys star captioned the photos, alongside a series of heart emojis.
“My hero and my guide for over a decade. Please instaworld show this man the loving he deserves,” she added, tagging Iain’s new account.
He went on to share a behind-the-scenes snap of the pair together, as well, showing them both in full costume for the show’s final series.
“Not just a BRILLIANT actress but the loveliest and kindest of friends,” he wrote under the shot, which captured them beaming from ear to ear.
Fans immediately flooded the comments to reveal the posts had made them emotional, and that they were in “tears” over the stars’ friendship.
“Seeing you two together, your friendship and bond, still makes me melt,” one woman kicked off the adoring comments.
“This totally melted my heart,” a second added, while a third simply wrote, alongside a series of sad-faced emojis: “CRYING!”
“I love you both so much, you are both the best,” a fourth said, while another concluded: “HELL YES! Welcome!”
It comes after it was discovered Emilia may have been looking for a famous partner — on celebrity dating app Raya.
The 34-year-old, who played Daenerys Targaryen in the blockbuster fantasy series, set up a profile with a batch of her selfies.
The elite app, “for the rich and famous”, is invite only and applicants must then be approved by the committee.
Emilia, who lives in London, was linked romantically to filmmaker Tom Turner last summer.
A source said: “Dating has been pretty hard in lockdown but some friends talked Emilia into going on Raya. She agreed to give it a whirl.”
But another source added: “She recently deleted her profile as it’s not what she hoped it would be.”
Emilia started dating film director Charlie McDowell in 2018 but they split up the next year. Other exes include James Franco and Seth MacFarlane.
