Harriet was traumatised in tonight’s Emmerdale

But the disgusting scenes had viewers wanting to vomit as Will and Harriet crunched through his rotting remains in the church yard.

Harriet and Dawn had buried Malone in a fresh grave in the church after shooting him in self defence.

But after the daughter of the man whose grave they had appropriated decided to have his body moved, Harriet had to make a move.

Will tracked down a remote part of Home Farm Estate to dig a fresh grave, but was caught by Kim Tate.

She was revolted by the smell of the corpse

Will told her to pull it together

Harriet has had a lot on her mind lately

She told Will what needed to be done

He had managed to put her off the scent, but it was clear she was suspicious of him.

Waiting for nightfall with Harriet, they dug up the rotting body and bagged it up into plastic bags ready to be re-buried.

But it was all too much for Harriet.

Looking like something out of Dexter, she fell over a tree and vomited while reburying him forcing Will to do it himself.

And when he had finally finished she knelt on the ground and begged God for forgiveness, sobbing: “Lord, I am so sorry.”

Harriet will have to do some extra prayers after this

“I lay before you my regret, my guilt and my heartache. I ask for your forgiveness and trust in your everlasting grace to redeem me and guide me on the right path.”

However viewers were ready to be sick at the squeamish scenes.

One wrote: “I think you’ve left a little bit late to start asking for forgiveness, Harriet.”

A second said: “Jesus…..Harriet, that was painful.”

Another added: “Its to late to be seeking forgiveness Harriet.”
