EMMERDALE’S Charity Dingle is rocked after Vanessa Woodfield makes a huge decision.
The veterinary surgeon – played by Michelle Hardwick in the ITV soap – departed suddenly from the village in May 2020 as she continues to battle bowel cancer.
Vanessa’s ex fiance Charity Dingle casually revealed the news at the time, explaining that Vanessa had moved in with her mum to focus on battling the disease.
She was last seen on our screens back in October last year when she made a shock appearance via Zoom to celebrate her and Charity’s anniversary.
But since then the pair have gone their separate ways and Charity recently hooked up with bad boy Mackenzie Boyd.
Vanessa makes a shock return to the village.
And without a doubt, Charity is left lost for words when she bumps into her.
