Viewers then watched Harriet buckle under the pressure of moving Malone’s body to a new burial spot as the mother of the man in the graveyard beneath Malone announced she was planning an exhumation.
But Harriet was horrified when the new vicar Charles noticed that a grave had been disturbed in the graveyard and confronted her.
Next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see Harriet tell Will that she’s going to move out before she can do any more damage.
Charles is shocked to find Harriet in the church the next morning, clearly having spent the night there.
Later, things start to look up for Harriet when Dan offers her the spare room at his.
But her joy is short-lived when she meets with Dawn, who rages at her for losing Lucas and destroying her custody of her little boy.
Harriet will get drunk and lose Dawn’s son Lucas this week in the soap after she spots Will flirting with Kim Tate.
When Dawn notices they’re missing, she ends up ringing the police, which leads to social services taking Lucas away from her.
