Emmerdale spoilers: Luke Posner makes shock confession to mum Wendy and forces her to lie for him

LUKE Posner makes a shock confession to his mum Wendy and forces her to keep a huge secret for him as he moves in with Victoria Sugden next week in Emmerdale.

Ethan – who was revealed to be Luke’s former lover when he arrived in the village earlier this year – will discover what Luke is up to and tell his mother Wendy.

Viewers will see Wendy plead with Luke to be honest with her as she reels from her chat with Ethan, but her son admits he’s not sure he can be.

Meanwhile, an excited Vic reveals to Amy she’s planning on asking Luke to move in. 

After Wendy continues to probe, Luke comes eventually comes clean and tells her what’s going on. 

Wendy urges Luke not to let his past keep him from finding happiness and begs him to open up to Vic.

But Luke admits he’s fearful of losing her, and makes his mum promise to keep his secret.

What is he hiding?

Emmerdale fans have predicted a romance between Luke and Ethan after the lawyer arrived in the Dales earlier this year and accused Luke of lying about his sexuality to his girlfriend.

Luke then told Victoria that he had indeed slept with Ethan a long time ago – but insisted that he was straight and not bisexual.

When Victoria reacted badly and accused Luke of being in denial like her ex Aaron, who eventually came out as gay, fans slammed her as biphobic.

Actor Max Parker recently shared pictures from filming with Ethan actor Emile John and sparked romance rumours.

And fans were left predicting heartbreak for Victoria after she persuaded Ethan to try online dating, only for Luke to repeatedly quiz him about his date.
