KNOWN for her outstanding manipulative tactics, Meena Jutla is willing to put them to good use once again.
The Emmerdale serial killer stands trial next week and goes above and beyond to convince the jury of her innocence.
Can Meena manipulate her way out of prison, once again?
Although she has been charged with murder and thrown behind bars, the criminal played by actress Paige Sandhu is still dangerous to residents of the Yorkshire village.
Coming up, however, Manpreet Sharma (played by Rebecca Sarker) decides to not let her sister mean ways get to her and testifies against her after the prosecution desperately tried to have her as a witness.
However, this only fires up Meena, pushing her to plan the performance of a lifetime as the defence delves deep into Manpreet’s past, attempting to portray her as a liar.

Gloating and relishing at the spectacle, Meena is advised against taking the stand – but she’s too eager to bask in the limelight to follow through.
Meena rejects the advice and prepares for the another day of her murder trial, rehearsing her lines in her cell.
The following day, Meena has a chance to speak out and stands in court to play the part of a meek victim.
During a show-stopping performance, Meena tells her story to an enthralled jury.
But will she be able to convince them?
Emmerdale fans know that Meena is convinced she can get away with her crimes with only a short prison sentence, although her crimes also include the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.
Meena has also murdered her former best friend Nadine Butler before settling in the Dales.
In recent episodes, the murderer has shown a positive mindset as Defence Barrister Milligan announced Leanna Cavanagh’s ring would no longer be part of the evidence that could be used against her.
While in her cell, she has also managed to get a prison officer’s attention as she prepares for her trial.
The defence has also asked Wendy Posner to come forward as its witness.
But not all odds are working in Meena’s favour and still has yet to avoid a life sentence.
As mentioned above, Manpreet will be testifying against her and will definitely have a lot to say.
