MOIRA Dingle has been grieving for her daughter Holly for six years and still strives for answers.
The Emmerdale farmer makes a shocking discovery about her late daughter next week and it could clear up the mystery for her.
In 2016, Moira Dingle (portrayed by Natalie J. Robb) found her daughter Holly dead in her bedroom after she attended a wedding at the age of 25 years old.
It was later established she had passed away from a drug overdose but questions around her death still remain.
Thankfully for Moira, these could finally be cleared up in a matter of time, especially since Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) settled in the Dales.
Next week, Priya Sharma and Suzy excitedly prepare for the Hop and Take A Vow showcase but are unaware their slideshow includes a picture of Holly Barton on the day she died.
The picture later flashes up during Belle Dingle and Jai Sharma’s presentation, prompting Moira to hound Suzy for more information.
Suzy is trapped and realises Moira recognised Holly’s dress as the one she wore the day she died.
The farmer is desperate for answers but her hopes are crushed when Suzy lies.
Unbeknownst to her, her flame Vanessa Woodfield is onto her, aware she didn’t tell the truth.
Suzy comes clean to the village vet, recounting what really happened the night Holly passed away – and Moira arrives.
Both Suzy and Vanessa worry she may have overheard their conversation but Moira actually apologises for her earlier outburst.
This is the perfect opportunity for Suzy to come clean… but Vanessa is disappointed to see she doesn’t take the chance to open up.
Suzy goes a step further and pleads with Vanessa to keep her secret for her.
