NEWCOMER Suzy Merton has been shrouded with mystery since her arrival in the ITV Dales.
But in a surprising Emmerdale twist, the character reveals her shocking connection to Moira Dingle.
While Vanessa Woodfield was the first villager to break the ice with Suzy (played by actress Martelle Edinborough), the newcomer is slowly coming out of her shell.
In recent episodes, it was revealed she even knew Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) already as the pair bonded over their addictions.
However, the wedding planner isn’t the only Emmerdale resident Suzy has bumped into over the years.
Coming up, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) is inspired by Suzy’s creativity as she suggests she hire out her barns on the farm for weddings.

Later on, Suzy inadvertently puts her foot in it when she asks Moira about using the field where her daughter Holly is buried.
Suzy is in for a shock when Leyla points to a photo of the late character as she recognises Holly from her picture.
Leyla’s confused when an unsettled Suzy bolts from Moira’s after repeatedly staring at Holly’s picture.
In later scenes, Leyla finds Suzy in the café surreptitiously browsing an online remembrance page for Holly.
Suzy then admits that she knew Holly and opens up about their connection.
Emmerdale fans know all too well what came of Holly Barton, played by Sophie Powles from 2009 to 2016.
Holly struggled with her own drug addiction upon her arrival in the eponymous village.
Although she had temporarily managed to clean up her act, Holly relapsed while enjoying a secret relationship with Jai Sharma.
Holly died of a heroin overdose in September, 2016, after saying a heartfelt goodbye to her mother Moira.
Her grief-stricken family and loved ones, including her former boyfriend Aaron Dingle, moved heaven and earth to find out who had given her the drugs which led to her demise.
However, they soon had to accept they would never be able to get the answers they’ve been searching for.
