FORMER soap star Adam Thomas stunned fans after sharing his body transformation on Instagram.
The 33-year-old actor was last seen as Adam Barton in Emmerdale in 2018.
While his character has left the ITV Dales to rebuild his life in Hungary, Adam is still very much present in the spotlight, particularly on social media.
On Monday evening (June 6, 2022), Adam shared an emotional post on his Instagram account, which included a video and several before and after snaps of his body.
In the clip, the Waterloo Road star admitted to hiding his body “for years” as he struggled with his image.
But in time, he learned to overcome these insecurities as he embarked on a drastic and impressive transformation alongside his twin brother Scott Thomas and the self-built community Food4Thoughts.

Adam said he was “sick of revolving my life around this anxiety”, which convinced him further to transform his body and mind.
“I genuinely just want to feel comfortable in my own skin”, he said, adding that his insecurities have had an impact on many aspects of his life.
“And this is something I have struggled with for years. No one has seen my body.”
“I just want to be happy”, Adam is heard saying as clips of him working out are added into the mix.
The father-of-two is then seen showing off his muscular physique as he jumps in a pool with his son Teddy.
Adam then captioned his post with an emotion-packed message about his journey.
“I still can’t believe I’m actually posting this, for years I haven’t felt comfortable in my own skin, not even the people who are closest to me would catch me with my top off”, he wrote.
