Men have different agenda compared to her on-screen character
While Emmerdale's Gabby Thomas is known for her steamy storylines, the actress who plays her, Rosie Bentham, says that men have a far less raunchy agenda when they meet her in real life.
"They'll ask me to do videos for their mums"
Rosie Bentham, who has portrayed the Home Farm siren since 2016, reveals that many men her age don't watch the show but often approach her to ask for videos for their mothers. She recounts an incident when she was out with her cast members and a fan recognized her and requested a video.
Recognized more when out with her co-stars
Rosie explains that she's more likely to be recognized when she's with her fellow cast members. She recalls instances where people next to her have been scrolling through her Instagram page just to confirm that she is indeed who they think she is.
Up for awards at the National Television Awards
Rosie had this conversation with The Celeb Report before Emmerdale defends its Best Serial Drama title at the upcoming National Television Awards. Additionally, her co-star Lewis Cope, who plays her on-screen fiancé-turned-arch-enemy Nicky Milligan, is also nominated for the Rising Star award.
