The soap star said Caleb’s revenge is not linked to troublemaker Jamie

He wants revenge on her and to take Home Farm back after she stole it from his family.

Emmerdale fans were convinced that Caleb could be working with troublemaker Jamie.

But Will has confirmed that the twist is not linked to Jamie.

Reading out fan theories, Will began: “Is Caleb working with Jamie Tate to take everything from Kim?”

The soap star spilled the beans and said: “It’s a belting theory because Jamie’s obviously has a massive axe to grind with Kim, but it’s wrong.”

His onscreen son Alex, played by Lewis Cope, also echoed: “It’s wrong, it’s wrong,” confirming fans were far off the mark.

On Friday, Caleb revealed to his son Nicky that he’d sent Kim a little surprise – one that viewers will remember from more than quarter of a century ago.

Returning to Home Farm, Kim found a letter from Caleb’s lawyers, petitioning to re-open Frank’s will.

Kim told Will that she was worried, adding: “It’s not as straight forward as you may think.

“I wasn’t in the best place when Frank died. It was stressful, and large parts of Tate Holdings were left to me.

“Chris and Zoe were both shareholders and they weren’t the sort of people you wanted to do business with.

“They were a mess, the pair of them and while they did everything to run the business into the ground, I had to look after myself, which I did.

“I removed money, while they were distracted with their affairs and their feuds and their violent tantrums. Call it a rainy day fund. When I left everyone everyone thought I was running away with a bit of stolen cash I’d buried.

“But the point is when Chris died and Zoe left, I retrieved everything I’d squirrelled away and it was a lot of money. So this person sniffing around the will – I don’t need someone opening closet doors Will.”

But as Will questioned whether there was an issue because of the will being sorted, Kim re-visited a storyline from a long time ago.

“There’s a clause,” she told Will as Nicky listened in.

And later Nicky told his dad what he’d heard about how Frank Tate put a clause into his will to ensure that all future heirs of the Tate family would benefit from the family millions.

But it wasn’t enough for Caleb – he told him he wants it all.

However Kim had a plan to track down the mystery heir and assembled a list of all people from Frank’s past.
