CAIN Dingle has no choice but to accept his mother Faith will succumb to cancer after refusing chemo.
He shared a deep conversation with his wife Moira – while Emmerdale viewers were wondering why her clothes were so clean.
Faith Dingle is going through the last battle of her life with cancer as it’s been revealed to her she will most likely die from her illness.
After learning the sad news that her cancer had spread, the character portrayed by Sally Dexter made it clear she’ll be going along with it and will no longer be getting chemotherapy.
Her decision came as a shock to her daughter Chas as well as her son Cain (played by Jeff Hordley).
Last night’s instalment of the Yorkshire-based soap opened with an emotional scene of the tough man standing alone in a field before being joined by his other half, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb).
But as the farm owner walked over to comfort Cain, soap fans spotted a recurring blunder with her wardrobe as she was seen sporting a pair of overalls.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and they weren’t happy.
“Oh Moira in the cleanest work overalls ever on a working farm but when was the last time we saw her get her hands dirty”, one of them wrote.
Another added: “Moira has the cleanest overalls of any farmer I’ve ever seen.. they’re always pristine.”
“Cleanest overalls I’ve ever seen on a farm”, a third viewer echoed.
However, more viewers were still glad to see Moira supporting Cain while talking some sense into him.
“Moira supporting Cain is wonderful to see. Moira’s words were needed”, one fan penned as another jumped in: “Moira is right Cain – this is no time for regrets.”
Cain has had a difficult relationship with his mother over the years, unable to forgive her and move past her mistakes.
