But neither Dominic or Lisa are competitive as they both hope each other wins.

Taking to social media, Dominic said: “I’m telling everyone on social media to vote for Lisa because she’s just brilliant.”

He added: “When I first joined in the ’90s you could be as mad as you wanted, it was definitely more over the top. We were never asked to tone it down.”

Lisa replied: “In those days it was more like a Carry-On film. Paddy bought Mandy a piglet, which we had in bed with us.

“I genuinely want him to get it. I’m like a proud mum when I watch.”

Paddy has been unlucky in love as Chas Dingle (Luy Pargeter) is having an affair behind his back with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

And he has a failed marriage to salon owner Mandy.

Meanwhile, Mandy has been hellbent on catching Sandra Flaherty after having doubts about her.

Mandy is convinced the Liv Flaherty’s estranged mother (Joanne Mitchell) is up to no good, unaware she’s completely right.

It was revealed Mandy had actually found newspaper cuttings belonging to Bernice, although she was still certain Sandra is up to something.

Tensions arose between Mandy and Sandra, leading to Bernice admitting that she had taken collaging during her spare time.

Fans have begged Mandy not to get thrown off the scent as they know she’s right to worry about Sandra.

Sandra has been seen plotting with a man called Terry to get as much money as she can from everyone in the village.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
